Born in Turin in 1944, Sergio Balestracci, studied at the Conservatory of Piacenza, specialized straight flute with Edgar Hunt and subsequently graduated from Trinity College of Music in London.
Since 1996, he is the Artistic Director, chorus master and principal conductor of "La Stagione Armonica", an ensemble specialized in the Renaissance and Baroque repertoire.
